# Add Session Resource

`$client->beta->sessions->resources->add(string sessionID, string fileID, "file" type, ?string mountPath, ?list<AnthropicBeta> betas, ?string workspaceID): ManagedAgentsFileResource`

**POST** `/v1/sessions/{session_id}/resources`

Add Session Resource

## Parameters

- `sessionID: string` (path parameter)

- `fileID: string`

  ID of a previously uploaded file.

- `type: "file"`

- `mountPath?: optional string`

  Mount path in the container. Defaults to `/mnt/session/uploads/<file_id>`.

- `betas?: optional list<AnthropicBeta>` (header parameter)

  This endpoint is in beta: requests must send `managed-agents-2026-04-01` in this header.

- `workspaceID?: optional string` (header parameter)

  Optional header to select the Workspace for this request. The value is a Workspace ID (for example, `wrkspc_011CZkZaBF1tNoB5wlCeusgy`).

  Only needed for credentials that can act on more than one Workspace. A credential that belongs to a specific Workspace may omit it; if sent, it must match that Workspace.

## Returns

- `class ManagedAgentsFileResource`

  - `"file" type`

  - `string id`

  - `\Datetime createdAt`

    A timestamp in RFC 3339 format

  - `string fileID`

  - `string mountPath`

  - `\Datetime updatedAt`

    A timestamp in RFC 3339 format
