# Delete Invite

`client.organization.invites.delete(inviteID, options?): InviteDeleteResponse`

**DELETE** `/v1/organizations/invites/{invite_id}`

Delete a pending invite.

## Parameters

- `inviteID: string` (path parameter)

  ID of the Invite.

## Returns

- `interface InviteDeleteResponse`

  - `type: "invite_deleted"`

    Deleted object type.

    For Invites, this is always `"invite_deleted"`.

    default: invite_deleted

  - `id: string`

    ID of the Invite.

## Example

import Anthropic from "@anthropic-ai/sdk";

const client = new Anthropic({
  apiKey: process.env["ANTHROPIC_API_KEY"] // This is the default and can be omitted
});

const invite = await client.organization.invites.delete("invite_id");
